Tips & tricks for studying?

Nevaeh has her first set of spelling words! It has taken us AN HOUR to write 10 words. I gave her an initial spelling test of her words. The words she spelled incorrectly she had to rewrite 3 times and the words she spelled correctly but had letters backwards she had to rewrite the word once. We have to do spelling words every night to study for her test on Friday. This is literally gonna be the death of me. She is whining the whole time, not trying, ect.
