I would wait at least until your second trimester, there is really no need to tell them this early.

Personally, I'd wait until you're showing (unless you need special accommodations)

I waited until 20 weeks. I suggest waiting til well into the second trimester, there is no need to tell at this stage

Def would wait, especially since in your last post you mentioned you don’t get your first ultrasound for another few weeks! Tell friends and family but boss can wait!

I was sooo sick at work so I told my bosses at 6 weeks. I was struggling so much and I wanted them to know why but explained it was early and I didn’t want everyone to know, etc etc. At that time I had already had bloodwork done confirming my HCG levels were on track so I felt alright telling them.

I told early with my son and the MC prior. She worked with me when I lost my first very traumatically and gave me nearly 2 weeks off. With my son, I drove 4 hours to my OBGYN and needed the day off to do that as a turn and burn was still roughly 9 hours. There’s no “need to” but if I was a manager/boss I would want my workers to tell me so I can support and help when and where needed. But that’s not nearly enough managers like that.
