Started on folic acid months before

@Vitch I already take folic acid it’s in the pregnacare vitamins I take but what’s the recommended dosage please?x

@Libby-mae I would consult my doc if I were you. I was take folic acid apart, not as part of preggo vits

@Vitch why do I need to consult My doctors please?x

@Libby-mae they would tell you what dosage to take. Goodluck

@Vitch I’ve googled it but Thankyou x

Prenatal with folic acid, and also vitamin D and omega 3. Start taking them a month or two before trying :) that’s what my fertility doctor put me on and I ended up getting pregnant the next time we tried

@Sarah the prenatal vitamins I take contain folic acid, vitamin d, b12, CoQ10 and inositol, so I just need to get some omega 3 vitamins x

@Libby-mae Awesome! Omega 3 is a big one which I didn’t know until my doctor told me. It helps boost ovulation and hormone production and also helps improve the quality of eggs. It can also help improve the quality of sperm too so it wouldn’t hurt for your partner to take it as well

His and hers of the above

@Sarah do you know what the recommended dosage of omega 3 a day is please?x

@Libby-mae I was taking 2200 mg a day

@Sarah which ones did you take?x

@Libby-mae yes. Pregnacare can be taken for up to 3 months, you have to watch what ur low on and high on too with them. So you may be too high on b12 and low on iron for example. If you overload your system too you can make a regular cycle irregular. Some of them are for women with fertility issues like the larger box of pregnacare and proceive or for women over 35 (lower fertility rate at that age) keep it simple and per your own needs the rest will take care of itself.
