Applying for school
When do you have to apply for school? As in starting reception my little girl is currently in private nursery not connected to a school she’ll be 3 in feb I’m happy to keep her in private nursery until she has to start mainstream school.
It’s all a little confusing for me 😂

Is the sept / oct the time window to make the applications, which would mean that we’d need to view schools and do our research a good few months before that? Scary thought!
@Katie I think the deadline to apply is Jan 2026, so the application window is quite wide thankfully. X
