To vaccinate or not

My baby is 2months old and due her first set of vaccinations. I’m on the fence about this. Anyone in similar boat or chose not to vaccinate? If you have older children you didn’t vaccinate how has it affected their lives and those around them?

We choose not to because we don't believe the risks are worth it. Ask for inserts and read up. LG is 15m and is thriving, 3m in nursery and apart from runny nose and a super weak HFMD she's been great, all of her class mates have been off sick at least once in this period. If you're undecided, you can just wait and do schedule/some at later point, it doesn't have to be done at 2/3/12m etc. Not a single regret in not vaccinating her

My daughter is 16 months and she has not received any vaccines. I will stand by our decision and continue to not give her any. I don’t trust them. Like the other mama who commented, ask for the inserts and read up. Theres so much knowledge out there but they make it harder to find. My daughter is thriving and you wouldn’t be able to tell she doesn’t have any compared to a child who does. She has been sick twice in her life with the common cold and we used homeopathic remedies to treat her and she was fine. Best of luck 🫶🏻

Agree with these mamas here. My girl is 2 now and super healthy. We also preemptively support her immune system and do homeopathic remedies when she does get colds, and she normally recovers super quickly. In my personal experience, part of my decision to not vaccinate was that my younger sister had a reaction to her 2 month vaxxines and it left her incapacitated and experiencing seizures and needing my mom’s full time care for the rest of her life until she passed away at age 19. To me, it’s not worth the risk.

I really appreciate your responses and will definitely go ahead and do some more research but it’s also reassuring as everyone around me is pushing me towards it and my instincts say no but when asked why I have no answers I can articulate to them just that my instincts say no Thank you so much everyone xx

I also looked up how many cases of (insert illness you're vaccinating against) are there in my country per year, how many people die and what's the treatment. Take tetanus for example - most commonly spread through drug use (needles) or farm animal manure, but you have to have an open wound and manure gets in it. Unless you live on a farm or your baby is gonna use heroin, chances are crazy small. Also, there is bigger push to not use aluminium in deodorants, cooking etc, but it's an adjuvant in most vaccines, I don't get how it's not good for our stinky puts, but okay injected
