Homeschooling

Hi! How many of you mamas homeschool? This last week was my son’s second week of kindergarten and unfortunately I had to unenroll him out yesterday because kids were being mean to my little guy and I just wasn’t having it! How did you get started on homeschooling? Do you have meet ups? What are pros and cons for homeschooling in your own opinion.. My son is soooo smart for 5 years old and I want to put him in a program that has gate or something for gifted kids but I can’t find any for the state of Nevada.

I home school as well! There are a lot of groups on fb! We use the good and beautiful curriculum I do homeschooling and unschooling !

Look into k12 online schools! They have loads of different options and it’s what we’re planning to do

We are doing a co op next year. Rn we do preschool curriculum at home

Been homeschooling my 5 yr old and we love it. Just last month I enrolled him in a new homeschool community program in our city that he attends 1 day a week with other homeschooled kids. This program covers all his mandatory subjects that are needed enable for him to pass his grade. We also have tutors we go to throughout the week and he’s also enrolled in a jiu jitsu program strictly for homeschooled kids. And in October he’ll be attending ski school twice a week in the mornings. My husband and I absolutely loves the flexibility of our sons homeschool schedule.

We use good and the beautiful and utilize a co-op through the church for free. Other co-ops and things cost a lot
