Pre-FET nutrition / supplements

Hi everyone, we’ll be planning a FET at some point, and before our egg collection I was focusing on my diet, eating lots of antioxidant rich foods, and taking lots of supplements (multivitamin, CoQ10, NAC, folic acid, omega 3, vitamin D, vitamin C) for egg quality. I am not 100% sure what I should be taking / doing ahead of a FET. I’ve heard Vitamin D and high dose folic acid, but is there anything else anyone has been advised to take/do? For context, I’ve had 4 chemicals.

I took zita west femceive the vaginal probiotic, my fresh transfer failed and I added this for my fet and I’m now 18 weeks pregnant. Not sure if it contributed but felt like sorting out that could have helped to creating a good environment

Hey @Jen - that’s interesting. Did you have a test to see what the bacteria you had, or take an antibiotic first? And how long did you take it for / how many weeks before the transfer?

No I didn’t I took some other vaginal probiotics a month before called free soul and the zita west ones are specific for a transfer so it’s a 34 day course. You start them in the prep and throughout during the tww.

Ok perfect, I’ll definitely look into that!

I took proxeed for women, it’s to help with egg quality, it’s quite pricey though…..took it 3months before my collection x

Thanks @Blonde Peanut but I’ve already had my egg collection, so looking for tips ahead of an FET 😊
