A stitch in her ovary’s
Asking for a friend she had miscarriage three weeks ago but she woke up this morning with a stitch in her ovaries is this a symptom of the miscarriage any help would be amazing thank you

@Nerida yes she is feeling pain no she hasn’t tested since she got her negative result the other week x
Bleeding and pain is normal during a miscarriage, but if she’s worried she should phone someone x
Miscarriage can cause unusual symptoms for quite a while. It may well be nothing but there is a chance she could still have retained tissue - my second line was almost invisible on a very sensitive test when I had retained tissue. I think if if persists she should have an ultrasound. And she could also check if she could be ovulating to find out if it’s that.

I’ve had three and can’t quite understand what a stitch in the ovaries could feel like. Does she mean she is having pain? If she is still testing slightly positive she could have retained tissue. Or she could be having ovulation pain (mine started after my third miscarriage). Not really sure based on the description.
