Placenta keeping

Hey ladies , my plan was to keep my placenta to have vitamins made from it , I was wondering have any of yall kept your placenta & if so how was the process? Difficult? Easy?

My friend did it but she sent it off to someone ! I was gonna do it but I was not about to pay like 800$

I loved my experience! I went through mommy made encapsulation and they did such an amazing job! Such a smooth process.

@Krislee yes ! That’s who I was going to go through did it help with PPD & breast milk ?

@Amy no I feel you lol $800 is a lot the place I was looking at was $500

@Jade M I think it definitely helped with PPD!! As for the breast milk I unfortunately couldn’t make any bc I had something called Sheehan’s syndrome.

I think I paid about $300 for mine!

Yup my doula is doing it- I’m paying $300 I think? My best friend did it and swears by it- another thing for a health placenta is beet pills- Ibeen taking them every day since I got pregnant. I would look into a doula- they seem to be cheaper
