Alone
Had a safe delivery with my baby yesterday.. I am alone in my postpartum .. and it just makes me want to never speak to anyone I’ve been up for 24hrs my baby won’t stay latched but she’s hungry I’m so sad and overwhelmed , hearing everyone one have visitors on my floor and I am here by myself … wow

You’ve got this mama!!! Can you ask if there is a lactation counselor that can come and help you with latch? There usually is a program that can connect you to one but you’ve gotta ask. I just had the same trouble with my newborn. It took her a couple days to get her hang of it. But the lactation counselor I worked with was hugely helpful and reassuring!! Keep telling your baby that they can do it!

Hang in there. 🫶🏼 see if your hospital has a breastfeeding/lactation specialist to help and also ask if they have formula you can supplement until you figure things out and you can get some rest.
