Feeling guilty for hobbies

I wish I could do my hobbies while baby is away he constantly climbing on me grabbing everything if it's paper related it's ripped

You could just include her in the hobby as simply as having a ball of yarn (?) or wool (?) I don't crochet, I don't know what you use 😂 but letting her play with some and experience it with you in her own way. That way you can crochet and she can be involved 😊

@Ashleigh that's a really great idea haha. It's interesting to me but she seems to stop whatever she's doing and just stare at me whenever I crochet so I think she will enjoy that! Thank you so much, it's great to get a new perspective on it! 😊

I feel so guilty whenever I go on my phone! I rarely use it throughout little ones sleep cycles apart from messaging my husband ( I try hide the phone ) but I’m so so excited to get back into crochet when she can entertain herself a little bit more (she’s 4 months atm). One of my favourite hobbies is reading and luckily she loves hearing me read my books aloud 🥰 what do you crochet?

No worries at all! I'm sure you will be able to find so many ways to involve her! You could make her favourite animals and talk her through the process. You could talk to her about the techniques you use to do it. You can tell her about the colours you are using. She can explore the different textures. Honestly, so long as she is interested in whatever you are doing, it's a learning experience and she will gain so much just from you talking to her about it and being involved! I'm a massive believer in learning through play and just involving them in whatever you do and I'm genuinely so excited for you to be able to share that with her and how much she will gain from it! Never feel guilty for hobbies! 😅

@Bella Aww that is super sweet! Haha I completely understand using the phone too, I feel like I'm missing out on stuff even though she might be entertaining herself haha. But I've loved making wearables for myself and other family members, but making baby clothing is super fun too now! Ive also made a little panda amigurumi for her and she loved it, it was really cute to see her smiling at something I made. What do you like to crochet?
