Solo parenting - How do you beat the loneliness?

My husband joined the military. I miss him so much. I am a huge extrovert and this loneliness of not having someone to talk to at night so really getting to me! What do you solo/single mamas do to keep the loneliness at bay?

I FaceTime my sisters and started going to workout classes at the gym. It’s still not easy but better than nothing 🥲 My husband isn’t military but he’s in medical school. He’s busy all day then studies until he goes to sleep.

Do you have any family or friends nearby? Could you go there / they come to you to have dinner together 1/2 nights a week?

I FaceTime my sister and close friends, go to their house and chill and I’ve made some really good friends on here also which I see every couple weeks, msging in between. I go to a lot of mothers groups and baby groups, take my baby out alot window shopping or walking around the city etc. I don’t know if you have mums groups around your area or library baby sessions etc I just find anything free/cheap I can spend my days w my boy and we’re out all day. I have to get out I can’t be a sahm if I’m actually home all day
