Sugar free week?

Has anyone tried doing a sugar free week or month before and got any tips on how to get through it? As well as weight loss, sugar makes my eczema flare up on my hands and face but despite this I am so addicted. I would really like to try and cut it out for a week or longer just to give my skin a break.

I’ve been 60 days keto so sugar free as well, the best tips are finding things like sugar free pudding or sugar free jello with berries, or sugar free chocolates. This helps your cravings but just remember that those sugar alcohols can still upset your stomach so it’s definitely a big cut bag on sugars in general but having those little things have helped me. I love coffee and have learned to just use sugar free creamers and almond milk because it’s way less sugar than regular milk

I find having some sugar free pop like Pepsi max held me @Cassy I want to start keto again I did it for 2 weeks the last time but struggled for meal ideas. Any tips and tricks ?

@Melissa I feel like when I first started I really ate a lot of eggs and I was making “chaffles” I use 2tbs of peanut and 1 egg and mix that really well and then have that with berries and that or a smoothie or protein drink in the morning and then getting the fats in has been the hardest part so I try to make sure to eat plenty of protein and do things with avocados or coconut oils or red meat and stuff. You can also make a lot of things you wouldn’t think you could that taste good! Use a packet of sugar free pudding and some cream cheese and you can make a fat bomb cheese cake. I definitely had to look up a lot of stuff and the biggest life saver I’ve found is making (or buying) the keto bread! It’s a life saver then you can just eat a sandwich or something lol

I am doing only protein/ fish/ chicken/ steaks/ and vegetables diet only for the next 4 months and one cheat day where i can have a chocolate bar or soemthing sweet . Also they have a protein brownie that is tasty at walmart you should try it . Im eating no wheats or whites meaning no breads, flour, rice , cereal, oatmeal, only exception is eggs . Anything wheat or white is a no for me. Also very light salad dressing balsamic vinagar or soemthing in that kind no ranch no mayo etc . You can also add a protein drink that is low in calories to supplement one of your meals
