I missed my period by a week, had a metallic taste in my mouth, stomach cramps x

Unfortunately all the early pregnancy symptoms can be caused by progesterone which is always produced in the 2nd half of your cycle. So there isn't really anything you could look for before your period is due

@Amy Thankyou🫶🏻

@Charley oh really? Okay Thankyou🫶🏻

It’s really hard not to but try not to symptom spot. I drove myself crazy every two weeks thinking different things could point towards pregnancy and actually when I did fall pregnant I didn’t have any symptoms in the 2 week wait, sorry don’t want to dishearten you but it’s really gutting when you get excited for nothing but praying you get your positive!!

@Libby-mae yeah unfortunately. As Louise says it's heart breaking when you symptom spot and then get a negative, so it's best not to.

@Louise no no Thankyou so much for telling me this! I’ve been trying for my second for over a year now and I’m fed up of getting my hopes up🫶🏻

@Charley Thankyou for letting me know this I’ll try to avoid symptom spotting from now on! I’ve been trying for my second for over a year and I’m fed up of getting my hopes up🫶🏻

@Libby-mae I would literally be like hmm my hearts beating faster does this mean I’m pregnant 🤣 I was nuts! But it’s so hard when you want something so so badly. It’s impossible not to have that little bit of hope! Have you been taking folic acid? Apparently that can increase fertility

@Louise I’m currently taking pregnacare before conception tablets that contain folic acid🫶🏻

@Libby-mae have a look on tiktok there’s a few other vitamins etc that have been suggested to help. I took them originally to try and balance my hormones as I had PMDD, could be worth a try for you! X

@Louise I saw a Tik tok that taking tablets to balance your hormones can cause my damage than good not sure how true this is though?x

@Libby-mae it’s only vitamins I can’t see what harm they’d do they’re natural x

@Louise natural doesn't mean no harm. It's absolutely possible to cause harm or unwanted side effects by taking vitamins. Aaaand it depends what you mean by natural, as they're mostly synthetic and made in a lab.

@Charley sorry for trying to offer help 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ I mean there’s a lot of evidence based research into some of these into helping balance you which in turn could help ttc, no one has to take the advice it was just a suggestion was only trying to be nice !
