Nursery fees

I know each nursery is different and doing the 15 hours funding slightly differently but does anyone know roughly how much 2 full days (8-6) a week would be each month with this funding? They charge £84.50 a day. Any information or thoughts would be great!

It is literally different every nursery. My nursery is spreading it out each term to include the holidays so this term will be 14 hours per week. So if yours was the same it'd be 14 hours funded 6 paid by you. With you can get 20% off because it's tax free. My nursery is adding 8 pound per day for funded children because the government doesn't give us much as the fees so it's like a top up xx

It really depends on if your nursery allows free hours to be used whenever, or if they can only be used morning or afternoon, certain days etc. ours allowed us to use free hours whenever. If yours is the same then you could do this too; We worked out a rough calculation by doing the hourly cost. So yours would be £8.65. If they’re doing 20 hours a week but only paying for 5 then that’s £169 a month. Majority of nurseries will also charge fees for food & resources if you’re using free hours. Ours charge £15 a week. He gets 3 meals and 2 snacks plus extra if they think he needs & also milk whenever. Like I said it does depend but this could be a rough estimate xx

8.45 per hour so would be 50.70 per week paid by you but with the 20 percent off it would be 39.40 per week xx

Amazing, thank you for this 😊 x

I think it’s dependant if the nursery stretch the funding throughout the whole year. If they do, u would get 11 hours a week rather than the 15 x
