Swimming classes at Sovereign Centre

Hi, has anyone done baby or toddler swimming classes at the Sovereign Centre in Eastbourne? Would you recommend them? Is the water of comfortable temperature (e.g. we find the Freedom Leisure one in Hailsham a bit too cold)? Thanks!

Blue lagoon in Hampden Park do lessons for babies and is a warm water pool

haven’t tried sovereign other than once and it was okay, we do lessons at the warm water pool in hampden park and that’s a nice temp

I would avoid the sovereign centre purely because of how disgustingly dirty it is. Went there once, never again xx

@Maxine @Georgina thank you, these are about £15/16 a session, aren't they?

@Els thank you. Was it the pool itself, or the changing area?

Haven't done lessons but been a couple of times just in the fun pool and they loved it. Especially the little octopus slide. The place is kept really warm!

I attended the 6 free lessons at soverign centre. The lessons were good. The changing facilities are poor. No tables, cramped and makes it difficult to change baby after

@Egle The whole place, areas of the pool were dirty, the bins/changing area smelt of used sanitary products like they’d never been changed, the toilets were disgusting, there was hardly any soap in any of the dispensers, I would never return xx

@Egle I think it’s just over £100 for 6 sessions

We go to blue lagoon and the pool is super warm, it’s lush! X
