Do you take your child/children to day care while working from home?

How are you balancing working from home with your babies, if they are not school aged yet?

Taking it day by day my son is 10M I started my job when he was 4M. I’m also on phones for work. He usually pretty good about playing in a designated area till he’s hungry I breastfeed too sometimes if he’s really fussy I just pop him on the boob. I know most don’t recommend screen time but I usually will but on YouTube or Disney+ after lunch time

@LeNaeOh nice. Mine is about to be one on Wednesday and I got through it similar ways. All we can do is our best. I am not on phones for my work though although I have zoom meetings when needed. Now that he’s walking , and has more energy it is a bit more work. Also his naps are gradually going down from 3 to almost just one nap a day. I’m asking because I’m thinking of opening a day care center in a commercial building with work from home mamas. I imagine a few rooms designated to working and taking calls, while kids are in other areas of the care center. Area to breastfeed etc….not sure what pricing would look like but wondering if a work from home mama would like that.

Get a play pen. I believe ours is 10x9 feet. It’s a lifesaver! My son is 13 months old, not yet walking and I’ve worked from home ever since I came back from maternity leave. It was definitely stressful at times and mistakes were made, but you can get through it. He’s 14 months old next week and going to go to a babysitter because of the screen time he gets is too much in my opinion. I’m on the phone all the time but try my best to schedule meetings and calls during his naps.

My son goes to daycare when I work from home. We are off on Wednesdays together though because I really enjoy spending 1-on-1 time with him!
