Starting nursery
My little girl is starting nursery next week, for those who've already been through this, what do you wish you'd known beforehand?

Don’t go to work on their first day in nursery, plan something nice for you. I was an emotional wreck and defo wouldn’t have wanted to sob through my first day back x
Pack loads of spare clothes and only send them in a vest and leggings, they get filthy 😂

I have worked in nurseries, always pack spare clothes and socks extra nappies and wipes and nappy cream. The practitioners are there to support you and your child if you have any concerns always discuss them with the room leader or your child’s key person. Label absolutely everything even the wipes and nappy cream, try to avoid bringing toys into nursery unless it’s a comforter (make sure her name is on the comforter too)
