Hey, sorry to hear he’s been so poorly, must be really rough for him and you if he’s had to have antibiotics. Have you thoughts about some probiotics for him? Antibiotics can really knock you about in other ways (but obviously he’s needed them to help whatever infections he’s had). Naturally vitamins A&C help with the immune system so having them as gummies or making sure he’s getting plenty of fresh fruit and veg can help xx

ah thankyou he’s had 5 cases of tonsillitis in the last 3 months which have led to him being on multiple different antibiotics and none seem to be working so i’m trying to push for further investigations, but obviously weres he’s been on so many different ones his immune system must be so low and he’s constantly getting poorly so we’re both drained x

I can’t get my daughter to take vitamins because she can taste them. She’s had antibiotics twice in the last month and the dr told me to give probiotics to build up her gut microbiome. Adults should do this too, in other countries probiotics are prescribed alongside antibiotics. They’re pricey but I give my daughter love bug toddler probiotics. It goes in her water and she can’t taste them so she has it all. I’ve also upped the fruit and veg she has too and she’s bounced back really well

After the 6th case they should consider referring him to have them removed. My friends little boy (now 5yrs old) was always so poorly with tonsillitis and since having them out, he’s been perfectly healthy! The difference in him is amazing! He was always going to A&E/being admitted overnight on the children’s ward. At this point, I would honestly discus a referral. I’ve always suffered with tonsillitis and still suffer as an adult; and I wish my parents advocated for me to have them removed. I agree with others, a good probiotic, and the Wellbaby liquid vitamin has everything they need at this age in terms of vitamins x
