Daycare

I’m currently a SAHM, but I was thinking about getting a job to try to be my own person again lol my only problem is I’m terrified to send my daughter to daycare. She’s 7 months old and I keep reading about how sending them to daycare before they turn a year old can cause behavioral issues and attachment issues. Any words of encouragement to try to help me feel a little more comfortable?

I wish I could help you but Im literally in the same boat. I was thinking about doing daycare on the more pricey side because it’s smaller amounts of kids and milestone based. I know I will miss him 😩

@Kai there’s a really good daycare down the road from me that my nephew goes to and he LOVES it there, so I know they will take care of her and they send updates all day long. It’s literally just me that’s having a hard time lol

Nanny's are becoming more affordable! With the rising costs of daycare you might check that out as an option. I worked as a daycare teacher for 8 years and would never send my child to one, i've seen some stuff, made several cps reports, the only reason I stayed in it so long was because I felt protective of the kids in my care, I had a lot of coworkers in it for the wrong reasons

Even with good hearted teachers everyone is always sick and exhausted, daycares are typically poorly run with high employee turnover

@Taylor i can’t afford to pay for a nanny, i can get daycare “vouchers” that pay for it for the year
