A Reminder to Ask for Help: Everything is Easier with Support

🌟 Life is full of challenges, but it's important to remember that we don't have to face them alone. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Just like how we are always there for our friends and loved ones when they need us, we should also feel comfortable reaching out for support when we need it. Whether it's asking for advice, a listening ear, or a helping hand, having a support system can make all the difference. Remember, everything is easier with support. So, don't be afraid to lean on others when you need it. What holds you back from asking for help? Share in the comments below. 🌟 We are here to help each other! Let us know what you need!

In my childhood I grew up with the idea that asking for help was weak and when you needed help ask for it within the family but, then nothing would be done within the family. Asking for help was filled with shame and disappointment within my childhood.

@Nikki oh wow! I'm so sorry to hear that Nikki! How do you feel about asking for help now?

@Ada I think my ability to ask for help has changed but there are still times of shame. I am in the process of unlearning those negative feelings associated with asking for help.

@Nikki it is amazing that you are aware of this and are taking conscious steps to unlearn what isn't serving you. 🥳 Congrats and keep doing that work -- it will help you and your child for sure! 🤗
