Spotting

So I had some light pink spotting yesterday evening and after having 3 miscarriages this year already I feared for the worst and my brother and sister in law talked me in to having a private scan as I’m 6 weeks today so went and peanut is measuring 6+1 with a heart beat I burst in to tears as I was so convinced it was over again and was gonna be empty again so little one is due 10th of April all being well over next few weeks x

Im so happy for you! I had 5 miscarriages and I am also pregnant! Had bleeding last week and had my scan today and saw a heartbeat 💗

Thank you everyone I’m still very nervous as anything can happen but feel more reassured now Iv seen the heartbeat x

♥️ Could you call your EPU so you don’t have to pay for scans? They also prescribed me progesterone there which was really reassuring xx

@Madeleine Iv got a scan booked with EPU for Monday due to previous eptopic I get scans at 6 weeks but my brother said I’d just be worrying all weekend so I went for a extra scan a private one today to settle my mind after the bleeding I had yesterday xx

I would contact your local early pregnancy unit as soon as you can. Given your history and the bleeding you would be more than likely entitled to progesterone to reduce the risk of miscarriage again

@Ceri-Ann my miscarriages where not due to low progesterone sadly so I had a eptopic twin pregnancy in December which ended in a DNC the. I had a eptopic pregnancy in January that resolved on its own luckily and then I had a blighted ovum miscarriage in April that ended in miscarriage so none could be helped sadly… but I will be being checked in EPU on Monday as I have a history of eptopic pregnancy so have to have a scan at 6 weeks to make shore not eptopic but from the private scan I had today they said the pregnancy is in the right place and baby is measuring correctly for 6+1 weeks with a strong heart beat so I’m less worried and the hospital said today spotting can be normal and just to keep a eye it doesn’t get heavier … but like said your never really out the woods till babies is in your arms as anything can happen Iv just got to take each day at a time xx

@Piper Ahh that makes a lot of sense! You did the right thing there’s no point worrying all weekend, and I’m so pleased. I’ve had a private every 2 weeks after the 6 week EPU one 😅 xx

Congrats!!! I actually bled a significant amount once and then spotting for weeks during the first month i was pregnant with my daughter. She’s now almost 4 months old 🥰🥰🥰
