Mental load is real!

I feel tired of everything. I want to disconnect from my husband, my kids, my parents. Feel like I wanna run away and just be by myself to reset. Too much mental load. I feel drained. Giving up isn't an option; gotta do what I gotta do. Have you been in a similar position? What have help you to get going? Thanks in advance for sharing your positive thoughts to see things from a different perspective 🫶

I feel this same way so following to see others advice

The life never stay the same for long time. I know it’s gonna get better with the time. So be strong mama. For me, Works two things. First communication. Some times it’s an assertive approach talking when everything it’s ok. Telling the things that I need and how I feel. Sometimes you need to let it go. If you need to get mad. Do it. And apologize later. Be a mom, daughter and partner its tough and sometimes overwhelming. So if you keep in you All that feelings it’s exhausting. Sometimes it’s Better an uncomfortable moment and not been overwhelmed all the time. You need to feel ok for your kids and if your situation isn’t good for you, You must to change it. Don’t live that way. You deserve better. It’s not fair for us to take care of everyone else instead of us. So second it’s take time for you alone. A break its so important, a long bath or skin care routine or time for you make up and get dressed in peace, make the difference. Tiny things make big changes

You need your own life or you will drown, working out, community, volunteering, retreats , weekends away, disconnection and reconnection with your husband, what you are experiencing is burn out, you gotta reset.

Go for a walk! Lock urself in the bathroom for some time. Sit in the dark. Read a book. Go stand outside for a few minutes if u can’t get away for long. I don’t get a lot of time to myself so my husband has made sure I get Saturdays to myself completely and I leave the house from sun up to sun down. Even if I don’t have anything to do. I go to the movies by myself. Go to eat. Do some shopping . Go sit in a book store. Even sit at the pier for a while. Also don’t be afraid to unplug…I cut off my phone for a few days sometimes and I’m in the habit of even cutting off my phone at night now. If I dnt want to answer my phone I don’t. I don’t explain myself. Give urself grace. U dnt have to have it altogether all the time. Idk how old are ur kids but having them on a routine or trying to get them to be as self sufficient as possible will help as well. Set up snacks for the day. Make breakfast and lunch at the same time. U got this ❤️

@Quay I love this

i tell my husband i need a break and go get my hair or nails done, something where i don’t have to think or do much. sometimes i just need a long nap. thankfully he can figure shit out himself!
