Thank you ladies

Anything chicken & rice or chicken & pasta is really easy. You can always change up sauces (made at home or bought) & seasoning.

I like the recipes on delish. They're easy

Recommend getting 1 basics cookbook. I have the new basics and it explains how to cook like a book for dummies, it’s so nice and then I don’t have the whole internet to choose from for 1 recipe. I hate looking up a recipe online and I have 100 slightly different ones staring at me, the all day easy or basic recipe for whatever, so I’m always like “then why are you all different from each other?” And it’s nice to have a book because then you aren’t messing with your phone or computer falling asleep and unlocking with sticky hands. That’s my tip. Then I also recommend this YouTube channel because it is super helpful to see something cooked. I’d start with how to cook chicken( it’s super motivating to cook a protein well, since it’s so tasty) I’ll find the link to how I learned how to cook chicken from this guys, he’s so great! I’d look at all his basic or easy titled videos.

Do you have a cast iron? Take a bunch of quartered Roma tomatoes, whole garlic bulbs (ask your heart) with the tops cut off, more garlic cloves thrown in, diced onions, fresh thyme or dried thyme, rosemary fresh or dried, and basil. And extra virgin olive oil until everything is well coated. Stir to coat and a few pinches of salt. Place pan into oven at 375-400-475. It doesn’t really matter. Let it do its thing but check after 20 min and recheck every 10 min until you see some caramelization and it’s more rust colored. This should make a whole lot. Turn off the oven and let it cool in or out of the oven. When it’s cooled enough and you can handle the garlic bulbs, squeeze out the garlic into the mixture and toss the peels. Use a spatula to break up any large chunks. You can use this mixture as a yummy spread on bread or just eat spoonfuls. Put what you don’t plan on using into the fridge. You can also take a portion of the mix and store in the fridge for a nice snack.

You can then take some and use as a base for spaghetti sauce. Heat some in a pan and add canned tomato sauce. Add basil and chili flakes if desired. Boil noodles and when al dente, transfer to the pan with the sauce. Spoon a little pasta water onto the noodles and incorporate the it in the sauce.
