Any one else possibly going through labor & delivery alone

So.... the baby's father and I have been trying to get our remained together before this baby arrives, but there are still some red flags for me that make me highly considering being around him at all. I only have almost 3 weeks until due date and don't have any other support really. My heart is feeling really heavy about possibly going through this alone. Any one else???

I'm due september 21st and baby's dad left as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I think i know exactly how youre feeling. I still don't even know who will get me to the hospital when I go into labor. It's looking like I'll have to call an ambulance. I didn't have anyone to support me for labor and delivery either. I found out my insurance will pay for a doula so at least it's something. Maybe you could try that too? I'm sad that it's looking like I'm going to feel so alone through all of it. If you'd like to chat you're welcome to message me !

Same but my situation is more of a maybe. If baby comes early or on her due date then he’ll be here , if not then I’m all alone. Trying to figure out a plan to get to and from the hospital if that happens.

My godmother is going to be with me for support as my child’s father is not around.

All of my family is forever and a day away, so I don't have that option either. Is it against the rules to call an Uber to the hospital for delivery???? LMAO Funny, not funny.

I am going through this alone as well. The babies father changed completely during pregnancy, and abandoned me completely a month ago. I have no support at all and my babies will be here in a month. He “made me” move to “our” new house alone, now I am in a state/town where I don’t know anyone, and his family turned their back on me as well.

Not with this baby, but with my last one I went through it all alone, her dad left me when I told him I was pregnant and insisted she wasn't his

No , as long as u have a car seat you’ll be fine , my friend said she took a Uber home after delivering

@Bobbi did you have support during labor and delivery? What about getting to the hospital?

@Carol Maciel that's horrible. What are your plans or thoughts currently on how you'll proceed?

I am a solo parent to my kids since dad walked out the only difference is I will have family or a friend with me depending on when baby comes but I have taken medical transportation before to go to and from the hospital after procedures. You will be fine and after all you gotta do what you gotta do. One such service in the Dallas area is Bec N Call Wheelchair Transporation

Nope.. no one during labor and delivery.. I had a planned induction so I drove myself to and from hospital

My baby's father told me around 4 months that I cheated on him and that the baby isn't his (I did not do this) and hasn't talked to me since. My mom will be in the room with me

Very very similar situation!!

This makes me so sad to see any woman going thru this at the time when you need the most support♥️♥️♥️

@Elle I’m gonna look into that Bec n Call transportation. I’ve never heard of it. Thanks for the info

@Chandra it is sad. Honestly I feel so sad and guilty. The father wants nothing more than to be there and be supportive but his anger is Jay something I’m so tired I’d dealing with. And he’s controlling so I can just imagine. And after wards he’s going to try to make me come home with him or cause a problem. I’mjust not trying to go through any of that.

Calling a rideshare is definitely not against any rules! But to be prepared for the worst i would request a Lyft and Uber at the same time. You dont want to be stuck with a lollygagger. But i love the sound of the Bec n Call transportation service, especially if you can make a soft plan with them ahead of time. Pack a pee pad with you so ur not thinking or stressing about anything but getting you and baby safe 💗💗💗

@Elle well.... I'm trying to look at my options. I just called the Bec n Call transportation, and they do not service Arlington. Only Dallas and Collin County. Well, that sucks, I guess it'll be Uber.

Google and see if there is a similar service in Arlington that way guy are booked ahead of time.
