2.5 years old and he loved it!! I also had a 10 month old at home, so this gave my 2.5 y/o a chance to socialize with other kids his age (which he loved) and gave me time to bond with my younger son, and it gave me a break while my younger son napped (my kids were on different nap schedules) 🍀

We put our youngest in the 3k program here in NYC and while we weren't a huge fan of the place we ended up at, our son loved it and they helped with potty training him

My oldest didn’t go anywhere until 4 but that’s mainly because we had childcare for free with family.

Age 2 as well. I don't regret it now that the first year of preschool is over but prepare yourself for constant illness. It was much much worse than I expected and is truly exhausting. Prepare the boogie wipes and humidifier!

2.5 years

My son was was nearly 7 months when he started crèche for 3 days a week the other 2 days he was with his grandparents (I work in the crèche he attends and was with me in the baby room until he was about 18 months old). He will be starting school in 2 weeks and he turned 5 in June. We're in Ireland

I'm in the UK. My eldest (now 14) started full time when he was 3 years old: I started uni :) My middle (now 8) started full time when she was 1; I was still studying. My youngest (now 10 months) started full time when she was 6 months old. I'm a teacher, and my MAT pay was crap so I needed to go back to work. All 3 of mine absolutely loved nursery, my youngest goes to the same one as my middle did. Baby Girl is absolutely thriving at nursery. She's crawling a lot earlier than the other 2, and she is really aware of her surroundings, recognises people by name, her own name, and songs, and is starting to communicate with us. At nursery, she has someone playing and interacting with her all day. Whereas when she was at home, there was always something to be done (even when on MAT leave!!) I am such an advocate for settings. As a teacher, you can really tell a difference between those who have been in one before school, but at the end of the day, you need to do what's right for your little ones x

4 months. He's grown with his friends and, since I work there too, he's pretty popular with everyone

At one years old

My first one at 1 year old and my second one I will send her after she is two and just for 2 days a week. If you have the opportunity it is best that she stays with you til she is three (according to Maria Montessori ).

My oldest started preschool at 3. The youngest I don’t plan to put in until 3.5/4. I don’t feel she’s as ready for a school type setting as her sister was at the same age

Thank you ladies I’m finding myself in the position now that I have to find a daycare for my little girl and honestly it’s the hardest thing
