Montessori schools/programs

Any moms who send their LO’s to this. Are there any special programs or things you look for when deciding on a school? What’s best to avoid?

Make sure u are knowledgeable on the Montessori philosophy because I took out my son from the first program we chose and it was cause I noticed they weren’t really following the true essence of Montessori by allowing children to lead in there education, the work task they want to work with. That the teachers know what their talking about. The program includes some hands on gardening and cooking. I love the new program he is in now, they are nurturing (which is another thing the other program doesn’t do, they wouldn’t console my son when he was crying). Excited for ur little one, I wish everyone did this education system and public schools convert

I don’t like close your area :( sorry

Notes taken. So essentially they were more on the modern side of things? But not in a good way… Also, if you don’t mind could you tell me about how much was the price range for this? Was your LO going on a PT or FT basis? @Aileen

@Maria that’s okay. I just want to get a general idea of what to look for.
