Gyms near Lake Merritt

Any moms go or have gone to the 24 hr gym by the lake? I’m looking for an affordable gym to go to and the closest walking distance to me is the 24 hr by the lake but it’s doesn’t even open 24 hrs and it looks small. Also everytime I pass by it’s packed and just felt stuffy in there - I’ve only gone as far as the front desk. Anybody wanna give some insight to this gym or any nearby?
