I had to do a repeat D&c due to the retained tissue becoming septic I was really unwell. Just be mindful if you have fevers or feel unwell go strait to emergency ! Goodluck x
If misoprostal isn't helping expell the tissue, they may have to do another d&c or hysteroscopic resection. I had retained tissue and they did a hysteroscopic resection.
not to scare you, but take this very serious. remaining tissue can cause you to get sepsis and one thing leads to another quickly.. i saw my patient go through it unfortunately. Go to your emergency asap to get it all out. Sorry for your loss ❤️🩹

Just an update, I’ve had an internal examination and the doctor found Sundays tablets still in there as they hadn’t dissolved. EPU has said that wasn’t possible when I asked yesterday but I can confirm that it certainly is. My HCG has gone down to 7mIU/mL without a bleed so maybe the HCG is self eliminating? Xx

Not great. After a few losses during IVF, we no longer have any more embryos left so not really sure what that means for us right now. Although saying that I’m currently 11 days late but pregnancy tests all coming back negative. I have a consultation with the recurrent miscarriage clinic this week so will see what they have to say x
