I know its abit early but when do we apply for nursery in a primary school is it next year or the year after

Nursery is from age 3-months to 4 yrs old and primary school is for when kids turn 5. Nursery isn’t free unless you are eligible for the free childcare hours, which you’ll need to apply for a term before you want them to start. Research using Google to find out about your local nursery that are funded, find out about the application process, speak to them when you want to start, they’ll be able to provide you with all the information you need
@Nattinan some primary schools have nurseries in them, usually for 3 year olds for a year before they start school at 4

The nursery in schools is different to applying for the school. Contact the school directly for nursery and should be able to put child’s name down at any point (mine were 1 years old). We heard from them in the January as they were starting in the September
