It's quite difficult to use a different address for her (e.g. saying you're living at your mum's) because they put quite a lot of hurdles in to stop people being able to do this. From experience working in primary schools, parents with the longer drop off end up moving the kids anyway as it becomes too much for them. There tends to be quite a lot of movement within the early years as people move so it's not uncommon. I would say, again from working but not personal experience, she'll be fine moving and doing it earlier will actually be easier for her. They are so adaptive with friends at that age xxx
You have to provide a lot of evidence here to prove where you live. We struggled and we've lived here two years! There is a special section on our local form where you can share any extenuating circumstances which might be the route to take.
I wouldn't worry too much about it to be honest, they're so adaptable at that age, it'd probably be harder on her changing the schools the older she gets
If you’re caught applying from an address you don’t live at they can revoke the place as your child doesn’t deserve that place Moving them in reception is fine they haven’t made firm friendships by then
