Have I left it too late to apply for free childcare?
My 11 month old starts nursery on their first birthday, early September and I haven't applied for tax free childcare + 15 hours free. Had left it as I had seen some posts where people had said they weren't given a code because it was more than a month before the child's start date? However now just seen some posts on reddit saying there's a cut off date for September starters and I am fearing I have left it too late.

Yep the cut off is August 31st, it takes less than 10 mins to complete on the gov website & you should get your code straight away
Just apply. It's one month from the end of maternity leave.
My little boy isn't planning to start nursery until April 2025 (financial reasons) so do I still need to apply by Aug or can I apply 3 months before April?
@Becky I think the 31st August deadline is for the September term. You will need to apply later for April. I'm not sure when.
