Feeling lonely and just left out of things?

Does anyone feel like there alone and missing out what’s going on around them? It’s like, you like being in your own space and company but also, you kinda miss having fun and seeing people/friends & what not. Since having a baby (16 months later) life has become quite dull and boring not really entertaining. What things do you miss doing before a baby? & what do you enjoy now (if there’s anything)?

I definitely feel the same at points. It’s hard isn’t it… I miss going out on an evening with my husband (we don’t have options for nanny etc) I miss feeling awake, I feel like I’ve always been some kind of tired since baby came along. I miss taking time for myself. I do have this sometimes but not as long as I’d like. Where I can really relax not just take 30 minutes randomly. I love having days out with my baby girl and husband. I love that me and my husband can finally have nights together again as in baby will sleep independently now so we have our evenings together again. We are so tired we just watch tv but at least we are together doing that. What about you?

Honestly I feel like this alot I’m back to work full time aswell . I’m really trying to keep up with love is blind to talk about it. I miss not having to rush my skincare routine and having a long shower. I actually enjoy exploring with my son going in to London dojng children activities in the science museum . When he enjoys a activity like simple things like going to park and he lights up And smiles and talks baby talk it makes me happy. I miss like going brunch out friends getting dressed up . I hardly get any support so it’s hard for me time sometimes

@Holly yeah definitely this. The me time is definitely important. I used to love having self care days, but hardly do it. Anything I want to plan to do, I’m just too tired for it or just don’t have the time for it. Even with partner, (don’t really have much time to spend time together) (we don’t live together) but yeah, definitely some things I do miss & a lot easier before. 😒

@Chavel yup definitely. I guess this is our normal mum life now, just got to accept it. If I was to have more time, I would have but nop.

Not being so tired all the time. Not fearing solo parenting days. Evenings out, being spontaneous. Sharing with him the things we love to do, like going to the beach, dancing, eating new food etc, it's what I love

I focused on building new hobbies for myself as I was all about the weekend before having a baby. I now run, yoga, play guitar, read, bake, garden etc. Granted might not always be super sociable but they are little ways of pouring into my own cup that I can usually do around my LG xx
