You can set it up to pay from that account, so you pay it in and pay your provider directly from there with the top up. You can’t withdraw funds they give you as people could be scamming money off by topping up and keeping the money for themselves x

You can only withdraw any money you have paid in so if you withdraw you lose the gov top up. It is only meant to be used to pay for childcare so you should be paying the nursery from the account rather than withdrawing to your own account to then pay the nursery. You should be able to pick the nursery from the list of childcare providers and transfer money to the nursery from the account

@Charlotte omg!!!! So I’ve just withdrawn my own money back into my account for no reason😩😩😩!!! I don’t know what to do now lol. How do you usually pay straight to your provider from the childcare account? I’m gonna have to put the money back on and wait for it to clear again aren’t I x

You set up the provider in the account and pay them directly from there :)

@Georgia yup. You need to set up the payment from the childcare account. Your provider should give you their details for paying in.

Go to manage account, And scroll down and add your childcare provider. Then set it to pay the total amount from your account to the childcare company. Hope this makes sense x
