Vitamins

Hiya, I’m 6 weeks on my first pregnancy and I’m googling everything I can eat, drink and do🫣 but I’ve see a lot of things that say to take a load of vitamins but unsure what ones I need, is anyone on some already?

I take Pregnacare max x

Hey! I'm 6 weeks too and started taking the pregnacare original prenatal vitamins as soon as I found out, it has all vitamins in one to support pregnancy. You can go to any local pharmacy or amazon online and search for prenatal vitamins, loads of different brands but usually a stock standard one is good enough x

The most important are vitamins with folic acid and some vitamin d. I’m using wild nutrition (which are more on the expensive side but great). Otherwise I wouldn’t worry too much until you speak to a midwife for an opinion 😊

I’m 5 weeks but I’m only taking folic acid & vitamin D then I’m just trying to eat extra fruit & veg. So it would also be good to hear from others

I had two obgyns recommend obtrex one. It has the folic acid, fish oil, vitamin d, and all other vitamins you’ll need. It also has dha that is good for the baby’s brain development. Some prenatal vitamins make you burp and give you a fishy taste but this one is known to not do that.

I take pregnacare prenatal vitamins it contains all the vitamins you need (my sister who’s a doctor said) I’m going to be 5weeks tomorrow. This is my first I’m so excited and anxious too

@Grace nice to see someone who’s 5week 💃🏻💃🏻

I take seven sea in a purple box for my vitamins or Tesco own brand. I find pregnacare makes me really sick 🙃

I’m 6 weeks & take vit d, folic acid & iron separately

I’m 4 weeks 2 days and been taking Inessa Pregnancy multinutrient, have been since June. It’s got all the usual I.e. folate but has ginger and magnesium in it which are meant to help with morning sickness (I’ve had none so far) but heard can start at 6 weeks. Praying I don’t end up like my mum who was sick for the whole 9 months with me 🫣
