Cost of daycare, if they accept subsidy if you are applying. How many children in each room How many teachers are there and do they all rotate in the rooms Menu options Schedule for the day Activity plans If the children go outside of the centre (trip to the park) What does my baby need at daycare in regards to clothes, diapers, cups etc What happens if we are late for pick up (late slip or extra charge in the fee) Are there other events that happen at the center What are the illness and disease policies How many sick days does my child have Policies for other people dropping/picking up my child Here are a few more, I work at a daycare so these are common things parents often don't know to ask
My friend who works in daycare advised me to ask about staff turnover and their sick/emergency policies as well!
