Mental Health

Currently dealing with depression and PTSD and they are both awful. I’m very introverted, I’ve been through a lot of stuff and sometimes I feel like I’ll rather shut off from everyone and be alone. I know it’s not healthy but it’s the only way I know how to cope. I don’t have many friends and it’s hard for people to understand. That’s why I’ll rather have genuine people in my corner who truly understands and won’t give up on me while I’m battling mental health.

A good support system in place is extremely beneficial for your healing journey. I hope you’re able to find some peace and overcome the challenges of mental illness. It’s tough. I highly recommend exercise as a method of treatment. It has been proven to relieve symptoms of depression and anxiety equivalent to antidepressants when done on a regular basis. Yoga and walking are my absolute favorite. I’ve also downloaded the iBreathe app for deep breathing exercises. They have different interval options and they also explain the benefits of deep breathing. I also indulge in warm Epsom salt baths on occasion for relaxation purposes. Taking time for yourself to focus on you can really help to improve your overall mental wellbeing. I’m not someone that has benefited from therapy personally, but I definitely recommend you give it a try if you haven’t already. It’s a difficult thing to do because it requires a lot of trust and vulnerability with a stranger. Wishing you the best 😇❤️

Sometimes it is good to retreat in your baby bubble. It gives you time and quiet to look back and process past traumas. I've been really ill this year but I've put myself out there 🙂 I do and buy more of the things I like its like medicine for my soul
