Potty training so far

So we're about 30 hours in to "naked from the waist down" potty training and it's not going well. Started with him doing little tinkles on the floor every 5 minutes. He finally started fully emptying bladder on the potty but no time intervals are working. We tried putting him on the potty every 15 minutes, every 45 minutes, every 20 minutes. We filled him with juice and he should have needed to pee instantly. Instead he held it for 2 hours and then the second he started playing he peed. It also doesn't help that he refused his nap today. I know we're only 1 day in really but do we just need to go back to pull-ups and put him on the potty every 30 minutes until he gets it?

Hey! This is what I did. The first 1-3 days were also very challenging but it worked! We also did naked from the waist down training, but we didn't take her in regular intervals. We instead spent the first 2 days watching like her like a hawk and playing with her (not fun but necessary). We then watched for signs that she needed to use the potty (like a pee dance, crossing the legs, etc.) and then took her. Eventually she started going on the potty. She would also just tinkle at first. It was rough in the beginning, but if you can get past that hump, it will get easier! She's now fully potty trained. No diapers or pull-ups at night even and she hasn't had an accident in months.

We literally lived in the bathroom for 3 days straight. Day 1 naked waist down, on toilet every 10 minutes.. Day 2 underwear only.. Day 3 underwear and pants. I had to really not think about the accidents or the amount of laundry. This was for my 3 orders who are girls. My March 22 baby will be my first boy to potty train and although he's showing interest I'm purposely waiting until AFTER our road trip on Labor day weekend.

I did the three day training and by the end of day 2 I’m like this doesn’t work, I was so frustrated but according to the reading stick to the plan and by end of day 3 she was potty trained. Stick to the process and don’t be discouraged! I did the treats and prize based training, with no diapers or pulls ups from day one.

Also I prompted her with “tell me when you have to go potty” all day for the three days.
