UK - Doctors this morning with early pregnancy

I’ve had 2 early losses since December. Booked a doctors appointment this morning for some support. What should I ask. I’ve heard people getting prescribed stuff to help baby stick.

Progesterone and aspirin x but sometimes they don’t want to prescribe it yet until you have an early scan and the pregnancy has been located in the uterus . As if it was to be ectopic it’s could cause a lot of damage . But definitely speak to them and ask for progesterone and aspirin and keep taking folic acid too x good luck . Hope they can help you 🩷

Doctors probably won’t prescribe you progesterone I had to fight with my doctor but still they didn’t prescribe it I eventually got referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic after 7 miscarriages and eventually got prescribed progesterone all the doctors can prescribe is folic acid and aspirin

I got my progesterone from the doctor after 3 MCs. Push for it. Emphasise your MCs and talk to them about the NICE guidelines stating that progesterone should be given to women who experience multiple miscarriages. Good luck xx

I would personally ask for investigation. Such as oestrogen and progesterone tests to see what levels you have a Curtain times of the month also ask if you can have a test for a blood clotting disorder as this can course early miscarriages. I was referred for ivf and had to take blood thinners, extra oestrogen, progesterone and extra folic acid.
