Moses basket alternative

I have it and I love it! Using it again for my second baby:)

@Megan did you find it easy enough to get mattress covers cause it's a slightly different size to standard moses baskets?

@Claire if you mean the white cover on the mattress underneath the sheet, it comes with one that you can pop in the wash x

As an alternative option you can look at, we just used the carrycot from the pram. Saved buying something extra and is bigger than most moses basket style bassinets x

@Sîan I did initially consider that but didn't want to keep taking the whole buggy into the front room. I'm having a c section so won't he able to lift the carrycot off very easy and then will be too low on the floor for me 🙈

Ours had a stand for in the house (silvercross dune) so it wasn't too much of an issue, appreciate not so easy though if you're having a section. I would recommend looking at a snuggle bundle though as an extra that might help you with moving baby whilst you're recovering :)

@Megan if you don't mind me asking did you have a natural birth? The cradle has just arrived but I definitely underestimated how low it is. I'm having a c section so thinking it will be too low.

@Claire yes I did have a natural birth. I think you might be right! I imagine healing with c section you will find it difficult to pick baby up. Hope you manage to find one that works for you! Good luck with your c section xxx
