Hey ladies has anyone started exercising before the advised 6 weeks ?? I’m 2 weeks PP and I know it’s super early yet but I wanted to get into Pilates & try strengthening my core & getting rid of this over hang from the surgery. 🥲🥲🥲

I did, started at 3 weeks as I couldn’t handle no exercise. Just please see a pelvic floor physio to check everything and give you advice

I didn’t! But my friend who was EXTREMELY active during her pregnancy - ran a half marathon at 36 weeks did. She had an emergency c section. She had approval from doctor

You can try belly band until 6 or 8 weeks . After which you can start exercise gradually

Light walking is beneficial until you’re ready to get into that and Dr approves. Also, keep in mind that if you’re breastfeeding and you start dieting then your supply will go down.
