Late ovulation

I have read on here that late ovulation leads to a miscarriage. Is this true or just absolute BS?

Would love to know this too. I have shorter cycles (26 days). I conceived when I ovulated on CD18 but miscarried a couple of weeks later. Got pregnant this cycle where I ovulated CD14 and whilst it's early days, so far so good 🙏

Rubbish! My last period was 11th December, I didn’t ovulate till 16th February and I’m currently 26w pregnant! Xx

@Georgie glad to read this bcs I still haven’t ovulated on day 27 and really hoping I will soon

Still plenty of time, I very rarely ovulated in the time frame ya supposed to. Fingers crossed for you! Xx

Late ovulation doesn't matter. I ovulated cd31 and got pregnant this time, similar with my first. Having a short luteal phase between ovulation and period can make it more difficult to get pregnant.

@Tanya I think this is the problem I’m having. My cycle length is 35 and I am not ovulating until cycle day 24-30

Ah ok, yes if it is less than 10 days that can be a problem as there may not be time for implantation to happen before your period. Might be worth going to GP about it. I've seen other ladies on here prescribed progesterone to lengthen the luteal phase I think.

@Tanya thank you, I’ve only been trying a few months and I’m still breastfeeding my first. I’m going to give myself a little bit of time before I go to my GP bcs I doubt they’ll help me yet

No, makes no difference
