Maternity pay
Hi, so I have a question about when I will get the first payment of maternity leave, I started my maternity leave on 12/07/2024 but before that I had a week of holiday, this Friday 9th August I know that week of holiday would be paid but will I be also get the maternity leave payment or would that be next month? Idk if it makes sense but I’m so confused and my boss is not giving me an answer. Thank you!

Maternity pay will start from the day after you finish your holiday, you can't get both at the same time x
So this months pay will just be the one week of holiday then right?
@mama my boss said I could get the one week I have accumulated and then start the maternity leave but she didn’t mention how it will be paid
Usually paid the same way you normally get your wages paid. I get paid monthly so it'll be the same noted on my wage slip. I also have annual leave accumulated so using that up 1st from next week then my mat leave starts officially from my due date in September.

I didnt think you could receive annual leave while you were on Maternity leave. It was either to be taken before mat leave starts or when you return. I could be wrong 🤷🏼♀️
