Starting a routine for nursery

I’m in a similar position, I’m back at work beginning of t September. I’m slowly going to start my little with her new routine over the next couple weeks
@Chloe yeah, I’m thinking that may be best so it’s not a total shock to the system- also means I’ll get used to getting up and ready again 🫣 x
@Sophie ohhh I didn’t know this was a thing! Our nursery said they’ll do naps when we want them- whether that happens in practice I’m not so sure. The only set times are food- lunch at 11 and snack at 3. The cots are in the main room so can’t see him sleeping if there are babies around him xx
@Robyn they sent us a “timetable” of their day and they try and get all the babies to nap 12-2 (loosely) and this is the time he’s awake at home lol 😭 so god knows! also same about the cots being in the same room it’s going to be a nightmare at first I reckon! At home he’s pampered with his blackout blind and quiet 😂😅
@Sophie ohhh no! Not sure how I feel about that 🫣😂! That’ll deffo take some getting used to! Hahaha so very true!
I wouldn’t worry too much about it, they are so adaptable so will just adapt to a new routine when they need to. I’ve never stuck to the same routine as nursery with my first on the weekends etc. and we’ve never had any issues xx

Following for advice! I’ve been thinking the same in terms of naps. Worried about how he will adapt as the nursery nap time is completely different to what he does at home… I hope he adapts 🥲
