Childminders

As we know, childcare is costing families slot of money. But not only that many parents are struggling to find anywhere that will except their children without having to wait months/years. I’m currently doing a some research around the topic of childcare/childminders and have 3 questions. If you don’t mind answering, please can you also add your rough location. Thank you! 1. When it comes to childcare for your child/ren would you send them to a registered childminder? If you wouldn’t, why is this? 2. How much per day would you be happy to pay for a registered childminder between the hours 7:30/8am to 5:30. This would include breakfast, lunch and a light tea, along with snacks and drinks. This would also include potentially collecting from your child’s school (depending on age) 3. If you found a childminder that would suit you and your child, would the age of the minder bother you?

1) Absolutely 2) Hourly rate around the £4.50 mark and £5 to cover meals 3) The age of the childminder wouldn’t bother me. As long as they’re qualified with experience and I get good vibes… age is just a number.

Thank you for you response! I appreciate it xx

1) yes, she currently goes to one 2) currently pay 5.50 an hour 3) the lady she goes to is a bit older, early 60's id say and is lovely. As long as they are fit enough to run after the children it doesnt bother me x
