Hi Mommas ! Who’s babies already started Daycare 🥹

And the ones that didn’t when did you start ? Mine started 2 months ago but he stayed home more than he went . He kept getting sick and his day care takes extra days off like every long weekend they close Thursday Friday and Monday ! But am so happy because finally he’s not crying at drop offs and he’s really enjoying it ❤️

My son started back in the month of April, he of course cried a lot during drop offs and did catch colds which is going to happen a lot while our babies are in daycare. Long weekends I get if there are holidays and your work also has the same holiday however when work and their extra days off doesn’t fit with your schedule can be hectic. On my days off during the week sometimes I like to keep my son home with me and not have to drive him to daycare however when I have a lot of errands to do and house cleaning on my days off during the week the daycare helps 😅

My lg starts daycare in 5 weeks. Which is also my mom's daycare. So I know she has 3 weeks off in a year, so I'll need to figure out those weeks as my parents wont be able to ask them to watch her. I don't know what work I'll have, so everything is up in the air.

Mine will start soon if she gets a spot. I’m having mixed feelings about it

Mine started at 12 months and he also no longer cries at drop off! Even at pickup he usually looks at his dad (who usually does pickup) but keeps playing with what he is playing with haha. My only qualm is I feel like he doesn’t eat very much. The provider gives him what is being offered for lunch and if he doesn’t like it she doesn’t seem to do an alternative. She has a “he’ll eat when he is hungry” approach which I don’t love. So I may need to work with her on that a bit, but overall it has been positive. They go outside A LOT and she plans field trip outings to the splash park, petting zoos, etc

@Maryam you will be fine . I cried for a whole month it broke my heart every time I dropped him off but now I’m happy and he’s happy !

@Jayden wow that’s amazing that they go out mine doesn’t they said because his class has ones that don’t walk they don’t take them out . Once he moves up to the 19 month class that’s when they will take them out it’s sad because he’s missing the summer fun

@Salam I should have specified that we went with a dayhome instead of a daycare. But it’s still been all of the feels!

Update, my daughter starts on Monday now that I'm starting a fulltime job Monday morning. I'm not ready, but ready at the same time. But now I need to find people to watch my lg until I can get full-time care

Awww best of luck @Kati 💕
