I think honestly just go to the quieter places, avoid town centre if you can or any cultural style places where riots may happen. Do not let it ruin your holidays. We did this for 2-3 days until I finally built up the courage to go back into town, main roads, near the mosque etc with my children. I bought some ‘pepper spray’ online, not actual pepper spray but one that stains/smells/stings and looks like it, basically hairspray with a uv ingredient in. I have my keys in my pocket at all times incase I need them. Maybe give it a few more days and it will die down. Dont stress🫶🏽xx

We’re about 20 houses from the original riots in Southport, it was fucking horrific. Terrifying, my 8 year old was scared they were going to get in to the house. For days I was scared to go out tbh. Where are you from?xx
