Stratford butterfly farm

Has anyone been with their little ones? Thinking of going with my boy for his first birthday but not sure if it’s suitable! Thanks x

We love the butterfly farm. Not been in the summer (it is usually quite warm in there so I’d dress appropriately) you can take the pushchair or carrier. There is a pond in the middle so bear this in mind if your little one is walking.

We have been with friends kids that were still in prams. It is prams accessible but hot in the summer. And one of the toddlers accidentally crushed a butterfly that landed in her palm 😭 so watch out for those grabby hands! My best friend’s kid hated it though. Didn’t like the butterflies flying around them at all. So it’ll really depend on what your kid is like!

Yes my little one absolutely loved it!! I put him in his carrier when he was around 7 months old and again at 9 months. But he would happily walk around / go round in his pushchair now. He was in awe and loved looking at all the tree’s, butterflies and the waterfall. Enjoy!

It is a lovely place but it is very hot and humid inside for the butterflies some 1 year olds can find it very uncomfortable but if he's ok with the heat should fine!

Mine loved!

I went not long ago and it’s really nice for them but is very hot so just be prepared! X
