Going back to the gym…

I’m almost 2 months pp and dying to get back to the gym. When did other people start working out again?🙏🏼

I went back to the gym after 2 weeks everything was fine just used cross trainer started running after 12 weeks but didn’t keep it up lol too exhausted x

5months postpartum I went back to the gym. But I had a horrible birth so I wanted to take time to heal X

I went at 4 weeks PP but wouldn’t say I was lifting “heavy” until maybe 12 weeks or so

I did pelvic floor and core rehab from day one, progressed to body weight exercises, gym at 3 weeks very very slowly, after my pelvic floor physio I started with impact.. I’m 5 months pp now, do crossfit and sometimes I feel that the pelvic floor get fatigued and some impact is still not good like double unders but it’s still early so neex to keep doing the rehab

I went at 5 weeks and built up slowly. Was running after 9 weeks.

I started just before 6 weeks but it was my 2nd birth and a very straightforward one. I think the recommendation is to wait until your 6 week check and then just play it by ear and go with what feels ok. If something doesn’t feel good, then stop or lower the weight.
