Mixing with a bit of formula milk

Try the sweeter veg first as breast milk is very sweet. Sweet potato, carrots, avocado, parsnips etc, before moving onto thing like broccoli. Also try mashing instead of finger food, that's a big hit with my gummy boy. He likes to smash it around on the tray and lick it from between his fingers.

Done sweet potato he loves it. Carrots a no no. Avocado yet to try Parsnip yet to try. I blend his food with water Trying the solid when he has teeth Sucks they don't do these in store bought pouches x

I've been adding a bit of apple to sweeten it up a bit. My boy has a sweet tooth and loves his fruit, so I've just been adding apple to the more savoury veggies he's had.

I found aldi had a good selection of the sweeter veg pouches like parsnip, carrot and peas

It takes them a few tries to know if they like something, how they react on the first try isn’t a good indication of their preferences, and things like pulling faces, gagging and spitting etc are all normal. Honestly I would be cautious of sweetening more bitter vegetables up, or only serving sweet vegetables, because it can sometimes feed into their preference for sweeter foods and become an issue later down the line, when they then refuse or become very picky eaters. They also don’t need teeth to eat finger foods.

Im sure Sainsbury’s do a sweet potato, carrot and parsnip pouch ( maybe he’ll accept carrot with other flavours) I tried the sweet veggies first as breast milk is sweet. Tried Sweet potato Carrot Pepper Parsnip Peas ( Birds Eye ) Going to try sweetcorn. I’m going to try cauliflower next as not a strong veg. My MIL suggested with stronger veg to use a potato base and add small amount of veg in then gradually increase it next time ( not tried this yet)

I grated a small amount of cheese in to his broccoli and he loves it also a could test for dairy allergy etc

Sweet potato red pepper & coconut milk

Bit of black pepper, cheese, garlic, mixed herbs, mine really likes a bit of mint sauce with his veg. I don't like unseasoned veg so I do his how I'd do mine minus the salt and obvs less x

Weirdly avocado and banana is a big hit with my LO. Saw it somewhere and thought yuck but she absolutely loves it. Also a bit of pureed mango with yoghurt. Everything else gets a weird face after 2 trys
